United Way of Central Ohio COVID-19 Community Response Fund

United Way of Central Ohio and a coalition of partners are working with local nonprofits to identify critical needs and gaps in resources. These needs may include access to food and household essentials, child care, and keeping the community’s safety net strong as this crisis continues.

Safeguards will be put in place to ensure these emergency funds are disseminated with urgency and used to support those who are disproportionately impacted by COVID-19.

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center Greatest Need Fund

By giving to the Wexner Medical Center’s Greatest Need Fund, you will support medical professionals on the front lines by accelerating research on testing and treatments for COVID-19 and assisting with the purchase of additional medical equipment to help treat more patients.

Mid-Ohio Foodbank COVID-19 Emergency Fund

Mid-Ohio Foodbank has created the COVID-19 Emergency Fund to acquire and distribute more food and supplies to continue to meet the needs of current customers, while also addressing the rising need as job opportunities are impacted by this crisis. With the unprecedented shutdown of schools, large portions of the hospitality industry and many other aspects of normal life, they anticipate an increased demand for food in our community. While they typically provide 150,000+ meals each day and serve more than 500,000 customers annually across their 20-county service area, they expect these numbers to increase significantly in the weeks and months ahead.

Stonewall Columbus

Stonewall Columbus is the only LGBTQ+ resource and community center in Central Ohio. Founded in 1981, the organization continues to grow and meet the changing needs of the LGBTQ+ community through social and networking programs, peer support groups, behavioral and mental health counseling, and events that uplift and celebrate the LGBTQ+ community. Each year, Stonewall Columbus organizes the annual Pride Parade and Festival, which has become the largest annual event hosted in Columbus bringing more than 800,000 people to celebrate.

Your donations and membership support a dedicated community center where the LGBTQ+ family can connect, uplift and thrive. Together.

LifeCare Alliance Meals-on-Wheels

LifeCare Alliance is among the largest Meals-on-Wheels providers in the country. Meals are delivered 365 days throughout central Ohio. LifeCare Alliance is central Ohio’s only provider that offers daily meal delivery.

The Ohio State University Student Support Funds

Undergraduate, graduate, professional, domestic and international students have many immediate, unexpected needs as a result of these unprecedented times. They need help with housing issues, losses of income, food insecurity, travel expenses, a lack of access to resources needed for online education and other financial challenges.

Your support of the fund provides students with rent, food or supplies so they can focus on their educational experiences.
