COVID-19 has forced many with compromised immune systems to stay home, meaning the demand for home-delivered meals in our community is higher than ever. More than 1,500 central Ohio residents – such as James Robinson – have signed up to deliver Meals-on-Wheels and critical supplies to homebound members of our community. In addition, LifeCare Alliance recently teamed up with Feed the Children to distribute 480 sets of shelf-stable food and hygiene packs to central Ohioans, and volunteers are powering this local relief effort.

German Village residents put stuffed bears and other animals in windows, or create scenes, so passersby have something to look at and mark down in a notebook. The hunt allows people to have something to do outside while adhering to social-distancing practices.

Local Production Company, Mills James’ designers and fabricators took it upon themselves to develop a simple, ingenious shield to keep our heroes safe.
Honking car horns replaced a church choir and pianist but still did the job of bringing people together. Some Central College Presbyterian Church members honked their car horns in praise during a drive-in service and held an encore a week later.

Grove City Church of the Nazarene, collected food items to provide dinners for South-Western students March 30 and April 1. Dinner distribution supplemented the grab-and-go breakfast and lunch meals the district is providing daily for students to pick up at 15 school sites.
