All People’s Fresh Market creates drive thru for fresh food in Cbus
Reeb Avenue Center Partner, Community Development 4 All People, is working hard to provide fresh food to families in need. Every day families in the Columbus area struggle to figure out where their next meal will come from. Volunteers at All People’s Fresh Market work tirelessly to make sure the community is fed.
Recently on April 8, 601 people were served through All People’s Fresh Market. It was second highest number ever.
They are starting to get some surplus items back that haven’t been coming. Example – chicken salad and eggs. Volunteer numbers are picking back up, too.

Mid-Ohio Foodbank and Ohio National Guard Serve 110 Households in 1 Hour
Reeb Ave Partner, the Mid-Ohio Foodbank, shares the incredible work of the Ohio National Guard. In their first full hour of serving their humanitarian mission, the Ohio National Guard set a new record for the number of families served in a single hour at the Kroger Community Food Pantry. 110 households were recorded as served from 8:00 to 9:00am in a single morning. That means they were getting a cart of food to a family every 33 seconds!
They are already making a huge impact in how to serve Mid-Ohio Foodbank customers. One of the National Guard Members shared with Mid-Ohio Foodbank how the experience has been for him.
“This mission is why most of us in the National Guard signed up and to give back to those who are less fortunate is humbling. I couldn’t be more proud of my unit and my fellow soldiers.”
